Day wise travel itinerary

Day 01 Arrival|Jammu|Katra

On Arrival check-in at the Jammu Railway Station and drive to Katra check inn hotel overnight stay at Katra

Day 02 Katra |Vaishnodevi | Katra|No Car

After breakfast starting By trek Mata Vaishno Devi cave temple Darshan.. The four main points that you cross during the journey are Banganga, Adhkuwari, Saanjhi Chatt and finally . Once inside the gufa or the cave, have the Darshan of the Maa Vaishno Devi– residing in the form of 3 pindies (idols), depicting Ma Sarswati, Ma Kali and Ma Laxmi. Post-darshan, if you want you can buy Prasad. Begin a backward trek to Katra and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Katra - Pahalgam

After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

Day 04 Pahalgam|Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, at Pahalgam and Embark on an excursion to Chandanwadi (3288 meters), Betaab Valley and Aru Valley(on own cost) Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. After your tour enjoy the evening at leisure. Have dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 05: Pahalgam - Srinagar

After breakfast, drive to Srinagar and enjoy the site scene of the famous Mughal Gardens Cheshma Shahi “Royal Spring”Shalimar “Garden of Love”Nishat Garden “Garden of Pleasure”Shankaracharya Temple. enjoy a 1 hr shikara ride in Dal Lake at Nehru Park on boulevard road,On return visit a local Handicrafts Showroom for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewelry ornaments.Overnight stay in Houseboat

Day 06: Srinagar - Sonmarg – Srinagar

After breakfast leave with a full day excursion for Sonmarg “The meadow of gold. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg at a distance of 84 Kms from Srinagar is also called “The meadow of gold” .Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer.Drive back from Sonmarg to Srinagar. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 07: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

After breakfast drive to Gulmarg “Meadow of Flowers” 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 56 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilanmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Known as Gondola (on direct pay basis).Drive back to Srinagar. Day 08: Srinagar|Doodhpathri|Srinagar

Doodhpathri, valley of milk, located in Budgam district, lies in bowl shaped valley in Pir Panjal Range. Its an alpine valley covered with snowclad mountains. Not a lot of tourists come to this place, since the road conditions are not favorable. After some quiet and peaceful time at Doodhpathri, be back to Srinagar for overnight stay
